Summary of Volunteer Opportunities

We have four different volunteering opportunities for you to explore. Here’s a brief summary of each:

  1. Online Professional Development Series: Quarterly sessions discussing trends in higher education. Volunteers can lead or organize one session per year, usually in the evening (EST) via Zoom. Supported by the board for advertising/marketing.
  2. Professional Development Day (Conference): In-person conference with breakouts on technology, supervision, and networking. Volunteers can help with session proposals, event planning, and advertising. Support provided by the board.
  3. Regional In-Person Events: 2-3 networking events annually, held in different regions like Boston, Springfield, and Worcester. Volunteers can lead or help plan events for specific regions. We are also looking for leads to help us scale in other major cities.
  4. Organization Support: Perfect for those interested in back-end operations. Volunteers can assist with membership growth, social media marketing, website development, and more. Opportunities to help formalize structure and create committees for fundraising and research.
