The Higher Education Networking Collective is a growing professional community dedicated to fostering connection, collaboration, and career development among higher education professionals. With a mission to break down silos across departments and institutions, the Collective brings people together through regional in-person events, virtual networking opportunities, and targeted professional development sessions.  Focused primarily on professionals in New England (at this time), the Collective is building a strong network of individuals committed to advancing the field of higher education through shared learning, mutual support, and innovation.

What makes the Higher Education Networking Collective unique is its intentionally cross-functional approach. Unlike most professional organizations in higher education that are department- or skill-specific, we are adapting the interprofessional education model from healthcare to the higher education setting. We believe that by bringing together a diverse mix of professionals across roles, departments, and institutions, we can better address the complex challenges facing the field today. In healthcare, we know it leads to better patient outcomes. Founded just over 2 years ago, the Collective has already grown to over 500+ engaged individuals and hosted events in Boston, Worcester, Providence and virtually.
