The Higher Education Networking Collective (HENC) Professional Development Day is a dynamic and solution-focused event designed to connect higher education professionals across roles, institutions, and regions. This year’s conference centers on the theme of supervision, mentorship, and career advancement, aiming to provide practical strategies, foster professional growth, and cultivate inclusive leadership at all levels.
This event serves two primary goals:
- Community-Building – Strengthening a collaborative and supportive professional network across the higher education landscape.
- Actionable Learning – Equipping attendees with concrete takeaways and strategies they can immediately apply to their work and career development.
Sessions will highlight a variety of critical sub-themes including:
- Equitable and Inclusive Supervision
- Technology & Generative AI in the Workplace
- Interdepartmental Collaboration & Workplace Culture
- Career Planning and Mentorship Models

🔹 Registration Policy
Event Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025
Location: Corcoran Commons, Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA
Registration Fee:
- Early bird rate (until October 15): $75 per attendee (plus applicable transaction fees)
- Regular rate (after October 15): $99 per attendee (plus applicable transaction fees)
- Registration is OPEN NOW closes on October 31, 2025. Use the button below to register!
- Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with event details.
- We have limited space due to room capacity so early registration is encouraged!
- If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to a colleague by emailing board@higheredcollective.org no later than October 31, 2025.
🔹 Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to board@higheredcollective.org by October 31, 2025.
- If requested by the deadline, registrants will receive a full refund minus any processing/service fees charged by the payment provider.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 31, 2025.
- Registration fees are non-transferable to future events.
- In the rare case that the event is canceled due to weather or other emergencies, full refunds will be issued to all registrants.
